Vendor Terms & Conditions
Wedding & Event Resale Marketplace at Chateau on Brushy Creek
Inaugural Event: Sunday, August 9, 2026 · 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM
By purchasing a booth, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before completing your payment.
1. Your Booth
You are renting a 6x6 ft booth space (or 12x6 ft if you purchased a double booth) under our covered outdoor tent.
You must bring your own table, chair, signage, bags, and change for cash transactions.
Chateau on Brushy Creek does not provide displays, racks, or display props.
Booth assignments are made by Chateau staff. Layout is finalized closer to the event.
2. What You Can Sell
This is a resale marketplace. You may sell:
Gently-used wedding decor, signage, and centerpieces
Bachelorette outfits, sashes, robes, and party supplies
Bridesmaid dresses and accessories
Quinceañera and milestone celebration items
Tableware, linens, vases, glassware, and event supplies
Other gently-used event-related items
You may NOT sell:
Food or beverages of any kind
New, mass-produced retail goods (this is a resale event, not a craft fair)
Direct-sales / MLM products (LuLaRoe, Scentsy, etc.)
Alcohol
Anything illegal, hazardous, or inappropriate for a family-friendly setting
Chateau reserves the right to ask you to remove any item that does not align with the spirit of the event.
3. Setup & Breakdown
Vendor drop-off & setup window: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM. Arriving after 4:30 PM forfeits your booth with no refund.
After unloading, vendors must move their vehicles to the designated overflow parking area. Vendor parking is not available on-site during the event.
You must remain fully set up until 8:00 PM. Early breakdown disrupts other vendors and the attendee experience, and may result in being banned from future events.
Breakdown window: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM. All personal items, displays, and unsold merchandise (unless donated, see Section 9) must be removed by 9:00 PM.
4. Sales & Payments
You handle all sales directly with buyers. Chateau does not process vendor transactions.
You keep 100% of your sales. No commission is taken.
You are responsible for bringing your own cash, change, and digital payment setup (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, etc.).
You are responsible for your own sales reporting and any applicable taxes on your individual sales.
5. Booth Fees & Refunds
Booth fees are non-refundable after August 2, 2026 (one week before the event).
Cancellations before August 2 receive a 75% refund (the remaining 25% covers administrative and marketing costs).
Booth transfers: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booth to another vendor with written notice to Chateau staff at least 48 hours before the event.
6. Weather Policy
This is an outdoor event under a fully-covered tent. The event proceeds rain or shine.
In the event of severe weather (lightning, high winds, tornado warning, or other unsafe conditions), Chateau reserves the right to postpone the event.
If postponed, vendors will receive a full credit toward the next quarterly marketplace. No cash refunds will be issued for weather-related postponements.
7. Vendor Conduct
Treat all attendees, fellow vendors, and Chateau staff with kindness and respect.
No aggressive sales tactics, shouting, or hawking. This is a curated, intimate experience.
Keep your booth area clean throughout the event.
Vendors found to be intoxicated, disruptive, or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave with no refund.
8. Liability
Chateau on Brushy Creek and Irvine Events LLC are not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or broken items belonging to vendors.
Vendors are solely responsible for the safety, security, and condition of their own merchandise.
Vendors are solely responsible for the quality, accuracy, and condition of items sold. Any disputes between a vendor and a buyer must be resolved directly between those two parties.
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chateau on Brushy Creek, Irvine Events LLC, and its owners from any claims, damages, or liability arising from their participation in the event.
9. Trash, Cleanup & Donations
A communal trash bin will be provided.
Unsold items may be left on-site for donation. Chateau will donate remaining items to a local charity following the event.
A $50 cleanup fee will be charged if your booth area is left in disarray (trash, broken items, personal belongings).
10. Photo & Media Release
By participating, you grant Chateau on Brushy Creek permission to photograph, video record, and use images of your booth, products, and likeness for marketing purposes (website, social media, email, print materials).
If you wish to opt out, notify Chateau staff in writing before the event.
11. Parking
Vendor drop-off is at the main entrance, 2681 Sam Bass Rd.
After unloading, vendors must park in the designated overflow lot. Detailed parking directions will be included in your Vendor Welcome Kit.
Vehicles left in attendee parking during the event may block other guests and create congestion. Chateau reserves the right to limit a vendor's participation in future events if parking instructions are not followed.
12. Restrooms & Amenities
Indoor restrooms are available for vendor and attendee use.
A water station will be provided for all vendors and attendees (it's August in Texas — please stay hydrated).
The indoor dressing room is available for attendees trying on apparel. Vendors are welcome to direct customers there.
13. Compliance & Communication
Vendors will receive a Vendor Welcome Kit by email approximately two weeks before the event (on or around July 27, 2026), including booth map, parking instructions, and event-day timeline.
Vendors are responsible for reading and following all instructions in the Welcome Kit.
Day-of communication will happen via the phone number you provided at checkout.
14. Right to Refuse
Chateau on Brushy Creek reserves the right to refuse participation, remove a vendor from the event, or deny future participation to any vendor who violates these terms, behaves inappropriately, or whose products or conduct does not align with the spirit of the marketplace. Refunds in these cases are at Chateau's discretion.
Agreement
By completing your booth payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Vendor Terms & Conditions.
